You will experience two information packed days concerning the horses hooves and how the hoof is effected by every aspect of human interaction.
Learn about hoof anatomy and how the hoof functions to support the horse and dissipate impact energy.
Get answers to the questions you have about: Laminitis (founder), Navicular disease, Club foot, Frog Infections, Long toes, Low heels, Thin soles,
How to transition to barefoot, How to use boots as well as many other situations.
You may have the option to bring your horse for evaluation on Sunday afternoon for the live horse demo. Contact chad@trianglephoofcare.com for more information. Limit of 4 horses total on Sunday to be evaluated. * additional fees involved *

Cost for this event is $300.00 per person for two information packed days 9 am to 6 pm that could help save your horses life or career.

Lunch break between 1:00 and 2:00 Bring a bag lunch or drive into town
* Intro to natural hoof care/ horse care
Diet, Environment, Dentistry, Saddling
* Gross anatomy of the foot
* Function of the foot
* Hoof protection - Boots, Casting, Plastic Shoes
* Observing Hoof Balance
* Laminitis- What is it? How do we prevent it?
* Laminitis Treatment- Discussion
* Navicular Syndrome- What is it? How do we prevent/ treat it ? - Discussion
Day Two- July 31, 9 am - 6 pm
Lunch break between 1:00 and 2:00 Bring a bag lunch or drive into town
Morning
* Body Balance and Movement- Lecture/Discussion
* Club footed horses
* Tying it all together- How the body effects the hoof and how the hoof effects the body.
* Rebalance the horse through trimming and/ or shoeing, casting, epoxy use, etc.
Afternoon
* Live horse trimming 4 horses maximum
Live horse trimming will cost extra.
Fees dependent upon the issue/ issues presented and what needs to be done to help the horse.
Basic trim fee = $60.00 per horse
